There are some good games in January’s PlayStation Plus lineup. In addition to some solid PS4 games with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Telltale’s Batman, the PS3 gets The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, and the Vita gets Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness. As always, these games are only “free” if you have an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
January’s PlayStation Plus lineup is:
PlayStation 4
-
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
-
Batman: The Telltale Series
PlayStation 3
-
Sacred 3
-
The Book of Unwritten Tales 2
Vita (cross buy with PS4)
-
Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness
-
Uncanny Valley

Is it me, or are so many Telltale games free?
Not just you mate. I guess they’re high profile, but also cheap. So it looks like you’re getting “real” games, but it’s not costing anyone much.
Wow this is a good month. I am excited for Tomb Raider: Underworld on xbox and Deus Ex on PS. Backlog increasing. 🙁
Pretty happy about Deus Ex. One of those things I’ve been interested in playing but not enough to actually buy.
Mankind Divided seems like a great game, which makes it more of a bummer that the input lag on PS4 Pro makes it unplayable. :*(
Say what now?
(Googled – that’s certainly no good)
its your tv
I thought Deus Ex looked great when I played it, but the story didn’t grab me like the previous one. I forced myself to keep playing it, and in the end quite enjoyed the different skills and gear. But it’s not worth a second play-through IMO.
The story SUCKED. The writing was so, so bad. Some of the dialogue had me cringing beyond belief.
Which is a shame because technically and gameplay wise it was pretty tight. But a Deus Ex game HAS to have a good story. Real bummer after coming from Human Revolution, which I thought was amazing.
Deus Ex MD is one of my favourite games this generation. It kind of just came out and disappered but I loved it, the season pass was worth it too.
I’m halfway through playing Mankind Divided atm. Not complaining because I picked it up for like $10 on ozgameshop a month or so ago.
Agree with above sentiments. Human Revolution was awesome and was my favourite game that year. This one isn’t grabbing me as much for some reason.
Still love the world and lore but I want to know more about the Australian Civil War that is mentioned in both of them.
I guess we didn’t have a plebiscite about something that we should have? 😛
Ugh I have Mankind Divided unopened on my backlog of games.
