Humble Bundle is giving away free stuff again. This time it’s the World War II RTS, Company of Heroes 2.
Company of Heroes was one of the best RTS games made in recent years, possibly ever. It took the gameplay from Dawn of War, tweaked it to make sense as a game based around WWII and produced something magical.
The sequel, Company of Heroes 2, is now available for free from Humble Bundle.
These aren’t games you play for the campaign, the heart of Company of Heroes is the excellent multiplayer where you can play with or against your friends in satisfying skirmishes.
There’s also a Theatre of War mode which present players with one-of scenarios to tackle.
If you’re hankering for an RTS to play over the holidays, Company of Heroes 2 is as good as any. Plus, it’s free.
