Henchmen Studios, some of the best cosplay builders on the planet, worked with Blizzard earlier this year for PAX West to construct two incredible World of Warcraft outfits.

Alleria Windrunner and High Exarch Turalyon were worn by Bubbles Cosplay and Snowdinson Cosplay respectively. The build took 10 people almost a month to complete, and involved hand-sculpting the armour casts before making them out of urethane resin, epoxy and fibreglass.

They also dyed a bunch of linen, installed a bunch of glowing gems, hand-tooled the leather, and even made their own chainmail.

While the costumes were made for the show, this shoot actually took place outside Seattle at Snoqualmie Falls, with photos by Henchmen’s Jordan Duncan (and editing by Beethy).
