There's no time like the weekend for gaming with friends, and if you've got some over at your place you might as well have a few laughs while you're at it.

The Jackbox Party Pack games are always good for a laugh or ten with friends, and the latest version adds to that with Monster Seeking Monster, a game where players try to date each other while hiding their monster abilities.

Fanatical are selling the last pack for $US5 right now, which is a pretty good deal even if you only regularly return to Fibbage 3 and Monster Seeking Monster. There's Bracketeering, Civic Doodle and Survive the Internet, but most parties I've been to have only focused on the first two games.

To grab a Steam key for the game, head over to Fanatical. The third Jackbox pack is going for $US12.49 right now as well, which isn't a bad price considering the replayability of Quiplash 2, Tee K.O. and Fakin' It.

The very first quest in The Outer Worlds, Obsidian’s highly anticipated first-person RPG out October 25, asked me to make what felt like an impossible choice. On one side was a community of outsiders frustrated by corporate control. Their outpost was something like a worker’s paradise — they were well fed and mostly happy, surviving by relying on each other. I admired their leader, Adelaide, for the passion that she had for her people. On the other side was the corporate-owned town they left, led by Reed Tobson, an idiot that didn’t seem to realise that asking his workers to only eat canned fish (for protein!) led to the population being ravaged by plagues. Despite how much I hated Tobson, he was right that the people working for him suffered because of the workers that had abandoned the town to form their own community.
