Ah well, there’s no accounting for taste.
The audience picked Nier, it was the critics who picked Zelda.
His point still stands. 😛
Nintendo releases game that breaks just about every Zelda convention there is.
Just because it breaks Zelda conventions doesn’t make it a good game 😛
I played A Link Between Worlds and thought it was OK. Nothing grabbed me though. The latest one is just Zelda Scrolls with breaking weapons, repetitive shrines and not much else to do except watch your stamina run out ridiculously fast as you climb or run.

My favorite was Oracle of Seasons. So Yeah, tastes differ.
Breath of the Wild is the only Zelda game I’ve ever enjoyed.
I bought it on day one, and still regularly take it out for a spin.
Personally, it was my game of the year too.
I should get around to finishing Breath of the Wild… but then that means not playing Horizon.
And you don’t want to not play Horizon.
I’m still tempted to start again… despite finishing it once from the start and twice NG+ including an Ultra Hard completion. Love it so much.
