Everything Streaming In June: Stan, Netflix, Amazon, Hayu

From TV drama to documentaries, original films to stand-up comedy, Australia’s streaming services are getting new content added all the time. Read on to see all the content that will be added to Stan, Netflix, Hayu and Amazon Prime Video’s libraries in June.

This month on Stan, keep up with Preacher as season 3 premieres with weekly episodes fast-tracked from the US, catch a new season of Hillary Duff in Younger and get your true crime fix with investigative documentary series Wrong Man.

Based on the film Three Days of the Condor, Max Irons (The White Queen) stars as young CIA analyst, Joe Turner, who stumbles onto a terrible plan that threatens the lives of millions. When everyone in his office is massacred by professional killers, Turner is forced on the run in a desperate attempt to uncover the truth.

Wrong Man

From the makers of the Oscar nominated documentary Paradise Lost comes a riveting doco-series following a crack team of legal, investigative and forensic experts as they exhaustively research three closed cases where inmates incarcerated for decades still claim they are innocent.

Younger is the smash hit series and your latest obsession from Sex & The City creator, Darren Star. Set in New York’s highly competitive world of publishing, the fifth season sees Liza (Sutton Foster) and Kelsey (Hilary Duff) caught up in more secrets and love triangles as their personal and professional lives become irreversibly intertwined.

Amazon Prime Video is now available in Australia, and this month we’re getting a couple of new Amazon Originals. Here are the new shows available in Australia in May:

All or Nothing: New Zealand All Blacks (1 June)

The six-episode season, narrated by the Kiwi taking Hollywood by storm, Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, What We Do In The Shadows), embeds a film crew with the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team, one of the most successful teams in global sports history. For the first time ever, the legendary All Blacks allow cameras to join them as they face the formidable British & Irish Lions in a showdown that comes around only once every 12 years and battle for the 2017 Rugby Championship. The series offers exclusive access to one of the most dominant teams on the planet during one of their most challenging and talked about season, taking Amazon Prime Video members inside the locker room, on the field, and into the lives of head coach Steve Hansen and the celebrated players.

    Goliath: Season Two (15 June)

After winning a huge verdict in the Borns Tech case, Billy McBride is reluctantly pulled back into the law when his friend’s 16-year-old son is arrested for a double homicide. However, as Billy, Patty (Nina Arianda, Florence Foster Jenkins) and the team start to investigate what appears to be an open and shut murder case, they begin to untangle a deadly conspiracy in the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles, where drugs, real estate and politics intermingle. Once again, Billy finds himself facing a new Goliath, one that is as formidable as the city’s mayoral race and as tall as the skyline itself.

Mozart in the Jungle: Season Four (17 June)

New melodies arise as Rodrigo (Gael García Bernal) and Hailey (Lola Kirke) take their relationship public. Hailey struggles to prove herself as a conductor, while Rodrigo fights to keep his inspiration alive. Thomas (Malcolm McDowell) joins a start-up orchestra in Brooklyn that challenges Gloria (Bernadette Peters).

Million Dollar Listing New York Season 7

Premieres June 13, same day as the U.S.

Powerhouse agents Fredrik Eklund, Ryan Serhant and Steve Gold are hungrier than ever to dominate the real-estate market in the city that never sleeps. From exclusive TriBeca penthouses to Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s extravagant Connecticut estate, the agents are pulling out all the stops to expand their development deals, nab high-price listings and get them sold.

    Buried In The Backyard

Premieres Monday June 4, same day as the U.S.

For most people, the backyard, and the backyards of their neighborhood, are safe havens, places where children can play and families and friends can gather. But sometimes there is something sinister lurking beneath the well-trimmed hedges and fences. Buried In The Backyard focuses on true-crime stories where the victim was found buried in the most unsuspecting of places, the backyard. Each episode will follow the police investigation from discovering the body to identifying it, determining cause of death and who committed the murder.

    A Wedding & A Murder

Premieres Monday June 4, same day as the U.S.

A Wedding & A Murder chronicles relationships that began with the promise of an engagement, but ultimately end up shrouded by mystery and murder. Each hour-long episode will expose a grisly homicide set against the backdrop of what appears to be wedded bliss. From the bride and groom, to a family member, or even a jealous wedding guest – anyone could be the victim or suspect.

    Made In Chelsea Season 15

Continues Saturdays, same day as the U.S.

Queen of the Jungle Georgia Toffolo is back in her natural habitat alongside the rest of SW3’s champagne set, including Jamie Laing, Louise Thompson, Sam Thompson, Harry Baron and Mark-Francis Vandelli.

A lot has changed since Christmas so prepare for some fresh faces, lots of fresh romance, and plenty of fresh scandal to keep everyone gossiping. Seemingly solid relationships will be tested like never before, newcomers will ruffle feathers, and old friendships will be fractured. Get set for love, lust, laughter, and loose lips, as Season 15 of hits Australia, only on hayu.

The Real Housewives of New York City Season 10

Continues Thursdays, same day as the U.S.
This addictive reality series follows an elite and powerful set of New York socialites as they balance motherhood, demanding careers and a fast-paced social calendar, showing what life is like in the most exclusive areas of the Big Apple.

    Southern Charm Season 5

Continues Fridays, same day as the U.S.

It’s not just the weather that’s a little steamy down in Charleston. When Southern Charm returns for Season 5, you see, the drama is going to be just as hot. This spring, Craig Conover, Kathryn Dennis, (a very-pregnant) Cameran Eubanks, Austen Kroll, Thomas Ravenel, and Shep Rose will all face new challenges in their friendships and relationships — just as the crew officially welcomes Chelsea Meissner to the mix. This squad loves a good laugh, a polo match, a glam party, and having a few cocktails as much as the next party-loving crew. But where there’s fun, there’s also often trouble lurking.
