I’ve always lacked the patience for XCOM games. Maybe June’s PS Plus lineup will encourage me to give XCOM 2 a go, at least until I lose a squad member and quit in sadness yet again. As always, PS Plus games are only “free” if you have an active PS Plus subscription.
PlayStation 4
- XCOM 2
- Trials Fusion
PlayStation 3
- Zombie Driver HD
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
PS Vita
- Atomic Ninjas
- Squares

Sweet! I’ve been this close to buying XCOM 2 in one of those 2 for $40 deals at JB Hifi for ages now. Lazy me wins again!
Someone said you are better off buying the complete edition.

I agree. The DLC turns it into a completely different and far better game. Still gives you the option to play Vanilla if you like as well.
The collection seems to be sitting at around $62 on the PS Store. I’ll dip my toes in with Vanilla and if I love it I’ll go all in.
There’s a rumour Firaxis is working at more DLC for XCOM 2. Hopefully this is in place to build the potential audience for that even more.
I recently picked up War of the Chosen and am loving it.
Having finished XCOM2 and the WOTC expansion, I can’t go back to it just now. And yet …. I can’t bring myself to delete it either to free up drive space. It just sits there, judging my lack of resolve to jump back in. I don’t think I’ve played any other game where so much turns on every single move you make.
Any time I don’t think I have enough gut-wrenching stress in my life, XCOM2 is an excellent way of alleviating that ‘problem’.
Both XCOM2 and Trials Fusion are games on my “I want to check them out, but maybe next time” list when it comes to buying stuff.
Free removes that delay decision.
But I already own X-COM 2 >:
… and you don’t own Zombie Driver? You scored!
