I don’t get the chance to feature much low poly or pixel art work here on Fine Art, so let’s take care of both of those things in one feature.
This is the work of Brendan Sullivan, an artist and animator from Sydney. You can see more of Brendan’s stuff at his Facebook and ArtStation pages.
Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists, showcasing the best of both their professional and personal portfolios. If you’re in the business and have some concept, environment, promotional or character art you’d like to share, get in touch!

Simple and elegant designs. It’s a rare skill to tell a story in so little brush strokes.
Some awesome pics there.
I saw the taxi in the main page and immediately thought of “The Last Night”. Turns out this is what he was aiming for.
What happened to “The Last Night”? I’m looking forward to it but haven’t heard anything since E3 in 2017.
The Last Night developers official Facebook page (Odd Tales) posted this morning they just hired a new pixel artist with that same taxi image in this Kotaku post. So I guess they are still working on the game? Was wondering the same thing as I was expecting them to at least make an appearance at this year’s E3 / Microsoft.
They decided to skip E3 as they are a small team and wanted to focus on the game. This artist featured on this article is now working on The Last Night.
Love this!
For some reason I had a big Dreamweb nostalgia hit…
Why is all this pixel art more appealing to me than most actual 3D stuff?
This stuff looKS great.
