Nintendo just announced a couple of new updates to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, adding some Breath of the Wild-related items to the game.
First up is a Breath of the Wild-skinned version of the Master Cycle:
You’ll also be able to dress Link up in his tunic from the Switch game. Ancient customisation parts will also be added for the game’s cars and paragliders.
The update is out now.

The first picture makes it look like he’s riding it backwards.
Well done Nintendo on giving us a free software update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to include the Champion’s Tunic along with the Master Cycle Zero from The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. I hope you give us more free software updates for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe soon.
I really want to see some new DLC characters added to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe like Donkey Kong’s Kritter and maybe Star Fox’s Fox McCloud. I would also like to see some new courses added to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. But all in all keep those free updates coming for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Nintendo free software update support for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe isn’t over yet keep those free software updates coming for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
I hope Nintendo remove the atrocity that is the ink blot on screen attack. On 200cc ( which I’ve fully completed) the ink blots on screen is insanely annoying. For Miyamoto to claim that in blot is good tension is just so ridiculous.
Definitely gonna try this once I get my Switch back.
