Chinajoy – or the China Digital Entertainment Expo & Conference – is one of the biggest gaming shows in the world, so it’s a good place to show something new. Like 25 minutes of gameplay from Mega Man 11, for instance.
The videos were cut from the livestream by Dualshockers’ Giuseppe Nelva, and you can enjoy them in two parts below.
The first video below features action from the Block Man world on Normal difficulty, with a boss fight that features a character that splits into four tops that spread across the level:
There’s some liberal usage of a metre for slowing down time, as well as a little red dog that occasionally appears to help the player launch themselves into the air.
The second video has a boss fight with the pictured enemy above at the very end. There’s also four difficulty settings shown: newcomer, casual, normal and superhero.
The gameplay is a little difficult to watch, with the hosts struggling from time to time. But it’s looking faithful as a Mega Man game so far, and there’s some neat bits in the levels shown. Mega Man 11 is due out on all major platforms from October 2.
