Look at ‘em go.
Fortnite Fever has swept the nation the past few months with 46% of parents resorting to banning computer games. That’s why we’ve launched a brand new ‘Emote Royale’ class so kids can ‘floss’ and ‘flapper’ their way to fitness and adults can enjoy a stress free summer. pic.twitter.com/iOyRnjiygI

Count this as your daily reminder that this game, launched to crickets and the sound of a gentle breeze before it released a spinoff Battle Royale mode at just the right time, is now more than a video game in a way that only maybe Minecraft and Pokemon GO have managed in the last decade.

And while it’s easy to be dismissive, at least things such as these classes being offered in the UK gets kids off their arse for some serious exercise. That and, you know, it looks like it’s a load of fun for them!

I wonder… if PUBG was never made would Fortnite be as big as it is today.
Hey, immediately I went “Oh dear lord…” then I realised “They’re up, having fun, dancing” so I won’t knock it. Good on ’em.
Yes, it’s the physical activity and associated health benefits that make this only slightly harder to be dismissive about. Mind you, still very tempted!
I just wanna also add… I’m insanely jealous all those kids have more rhythm in one hair on their head than I do my whole body :\
Damn them… 😉
With ya there dude.
The new ‘Dad’ joke in my house is me attempting ‘Zany’ – one of my son’s fav emotes.
As long as it gets them exercising I don’t see the harm.
