Ahead of the game’s launch next week, PlayStation Japan has just uploaded about five minutes of gameplay from the upcoming Spider-Man.
It’s worth a watch if you want to see more of the nuts and bolts of the game, and it’s also mostly taken from the first few hours of the game that press previewed in Sydney recently. (If you load up the story below, you’ll be able to see in the video the various segments that’s being referenced.)

Peter Parker – under my hopeless direction – had just flung a postbox in her direction. If she’d been looking the other way, her nose would have flown express to the next block.”]
Beyond that, it’s a good video showing off the nuts and bolts of the new game. You’ll get a quick look at what your average webslinging experience will be like, some of the stealth mechanics, gadgets you’ll get to play with, and how those work in context. It’s basically showing off the game’s main gameplay loops, which should help immensely if you’re thinking about whether Spider-Man might be your thing.
The game drops for PS4 on September 5. The global embargo for the game lifts midnight Australian time on September 5, so expect to see a lot of noise on the internet around then.
