Forza Horizon 4 Demo Hits PC, Xbox One

Remember demos? You know, the kind that launched before a game was fully released? Forza Horizon 4 remembers.

The demo for Forza Horizon 4 has dropped on the Microsoft Store for Xbox One and PC. That means you can visit the one link to redeem it on either platform, which is nice.

The download requirements aren’t listed on the specs page, but the Microsoft Store notes that you’ll need just over 28GB of HDD space:

If you want to try the demo out, head here. The demo will have all four seasons in the game, so you’ll be able to check out the neat weather cycles.

Here’s the recommended specs for the demo:

OS: Windows 10 version 15063.0 or higher
RAM: 12 GB
Video Memory: 4 GB
CPU: Intel i7-3820 @ 3.6Ghz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 OR Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB OR AMD R9 290x OR AMD RX 470

  • Love Horizon, this looks awesome as always & i’d love to get it running on the X/4k buuut sorry Mr Microsoft, every 2 years is just too frequent a release period for me with the amount of other games around – i’m still only halfway through 3!

If there wasn’t all the VIP pass stuff every time i’d be more inclined too, that only encourages me to wait till the inevitable Horizon 5 in 2020.

  • This is nice. With Xbox we get nice little things like this, we can play it on Xbox or PC. We can play Xbox Exclusive games on Xbox or PC and we get cross play.

But with PlayStation and their pathetic jealousy, we get games that can only be played on PlayStation. We get no cross play. And we get our Fortnite accounts destroyed. Plus we have to PAY to save our progress to the internet, you believe that?

Spider-Man is a waste of a game if we can’t experience it with the power of a PC and an Xbox controller.
