The Best Bargains From Target's Clearance Sale

With the rush of games set to hit shelves over the next couple of months, retailers are getting busy to clear the decks. So here's Target, pushing out a whole bunch of games out the door for bugger all.

The clearance will be across all Target stores nationwide, with stock varying from store to store. Some helpful posters at OzBargain captured some pictures and prices, both in store and from the website.

Here's a shot of a stand in Victoria:

As for what's available through the Target website, here's the deals that are showing right now:

  • AO Tennis (PS4/XBO): $30
  • Steep Winter Games Edition (PS4): $20
  • Farming Simulator Switch Edition: $20
  • The Sims 4 (PS4): $30
  • Farming Simulator 17 (PS4/XBO): $20
  • Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 (PS4): $30
  • Marvel vs Capcom Infinite (PS4): $20
  • Agents of Mayhem (PS4/XBO): $10
  • Portal Knights (PS4): $20
  • Injustice 2 (PS4): $20
  • Prey (PS4/XBO): $10
  • Mass Effect Andromeda (PS4/XBO): $20
  • For Honor (PS4/XBO): $20
  • Pokemon Moon (3DS): $20
  • Dishonored 2 (PS4/XBO): $10
  • Yo-Kai Watch 2 Fleshy Souls (3DS): $20
  • UFC 2 (PS4/XBO): $20
  • Hyrule Warriors Legends (3DS): $20
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider (XBO): $20
  • Mario & Luigi Paper Jam Bros (3DS): $20
  • Street Fighter 5 (PS4): $20

Press Start have also reported that games like Diablo 3, Life is Strange, Shovel Knight, Don Bradman Cricket 17, The Evil Within, Assassin's Creed: Unity, Halo: MCC, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Witcher 3 and Gears of War 4 will be $10 or less.

Those deals will only be available in store, however, and at the time of writing those deals aren't on the Target website (or those games aren't coming up whatsoever). So if you're walking past a Target this week, it's worth doing a bit of bargain bin hunting.

Thanks OzBargain and Press Start!

Dammit, I just bought Injustice 2 for 25 bucks.

Jesus christ. You payed $25 instead of $20? Do you just walk around with the word 'chump' permanently tattooed on your forehead? Do insurance salesmen flock to you like flies on a shit sandwich? I mean, I've made some mistakes in my day, but HOLY SHIT, I ain't never paid no 25 dollar for no Injustice game. I mean, jesus, you could have opened a chequing account. You could have bought 16 McDonalds soft serve cones (are they still 30c? Have I unwittingly shown my age?). I once reversed over my own mother with a combine harvester while mispronouncing 'pacific', but you, sir, are by far and away the biggest idiot to grace this intellectually vacuous continent.

Alright, I'm done... Sorry I called you an idiot. Especially after your monumental loss. *hugs*

60c for Maccas soft serve cones in Australia.

Well... guess the biggest fool was me. Hubris, thy name is [REDACTED].

are they still 30c? Have I unwittingly shown my age?

No, and Yes. They havent been 30c for years, having bumped the price to 50c somewhere around 2014. They went to 60c at some point since then as well, which I think is the current price.

So Neo Kaiser could only afford 8 soft serve cones if he'd been that little smarter with his purchasing of Injustice. Still his fault of course, and a tragedy he'll have to live with the rest of his life, but at least its not AS bad as it could have been.

For Honor is worth a grab, especially with the amount work the devs have put into it over the last year. In October a big expansion is coming thats revamping the whole game, for $20, you can't go wrong.

Absolute rubbish.... none of the targets I visited in VIC had any super cheap prices as listed here. Consoles were still $400+

Nowhere in that list did they say the consoles were discounted...
