A Cool Detail With Fallout 76’s Photo Mode

As you’re digesting all the gameplay from Fallout 76 today, there’s one neat little feature you should keep in mind.

As revealed by IGN in their playthrough, which you can hear below, there’s a neat trick with Fallout 76‘s Photo Mode. While the Photo Mode tools are largely what you’d expect, what’s interesting is that the game will then take those photos and reuse them in Fallout 76‘s loading screens.

It’s a really neat idea, one that I’d be stunned not to see appear in games from 2019 and above.

With all the footage out today, a common thread that’s starting to emerge is that multiplayer in Fallout 76 seems to be that multiplayer works just as fine — and it’s not as chaotic as people might have originally feared.

That transition opening up the Pipboy though? Probably not something you’d want to be doing in the heat of combat.
