Need a new screen but want to stick to a known brand?
Kogan are currently discounting a range of tech, homewares and other things on their site. The value varies from deal to deal, but there’s one offer that stuck out to me: a Samsung 32″ 4K LED screen for $549.
It’s a 60Hz VA panel that weighs in at 6.3kg with the stand, and sports a quoted brightness of around 270cd/m2. Here’s the spec dump:
Dimensions: 729.5 x 534.5 x 250.5mm
VESA Wall Mount Pattern: 100 x 100mm
Weight w/with Stand: 6.30kg
Weight w/without Stand: 5.5kg

Native Aspect Ratio: 16:9
Refresh Rate: 60Hz

Response Time: 4(GTG)ms
Screen Size: 32″
Size: 698.4 x 392.85mmmm
Type: 4K Ultra HD Display
Ports: 2x HDMI (2.0 and 1.4), 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 1x 3.5mm headphone

The screen also supports FreeSync 1 (not 2), although neither Kogan’s listing or the Samsung page lists the actual FreeSync range.
If you’re interested, here’s the full spec page on the Samsung site while the Kogan deal is here. Around $550 isn’t a bad deal for a 32″ 4K screen, even if there’s no HDR support. It’s not something you’d want for twitch shooters, but as a second screen, it’s not a bad price at all.
