Man, that shrine in BotW really bothered me. And every other where the environmental puzzles to reveal them/access them relied on certain things happening or not happening in 10,000 years. I usually can suspend my disbelief better than that, but they kept mentioning the 10,000 years over and over which is in and out of itself super unnecessary. Why not simply say “long, long time ago”?
