In the Pokémon games and anime, Mr. Mime is slightly unsettling. But in the upcoming Hollywood movie, the character is freaky.
Don’t believe me?

It doesn’t look out of place when compared with other horror characters.

He did it. Whatever crime Pikachu is investigating, it was 10000000000% Mr. Mime https://t.co/QjHlXXDlJq

Am I missing something?
It just looks like Mr. Mime in CG….
agreed, i thought they did a great job with mr mime. if anything, a lot of the other pokemon seem out of place.
I want a movie starring Mr Mime as the main character.
He’s the kind of mime that even street mimes feel creeped out by.
I don’t see the issue. Mimes are ALWAYS disturbing.
Dude I’ve known a lot about Mr. Mime since I first watched the Pokemon animated tv series on Cheez TV back in the 90s when I was young and before I even had gone to school.
I don’t see why people are getting freaked out on how Mr. Mime is now starring in Pokemon’s Detective Pikachu starring the voice of Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds as Detective Pikachu.
But as I said I’m not going to see Pokemon’s Detective Pikachu in cinemas next year because it would’ve been better for Warner Bros. Pictures Legendary Pictures Nintendo and The Pokemon Company to make Pokemon’s Detective Pikachu as an animated movie.
I mean with Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu! and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee! coming out on the Nintendo Switch on Friday this week along with the Pokeball Plus accessory plus a bonus Pokemon named Mew if Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu! or Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee! is purchased who could forget those three Pokemon movies that were published by Warner Bros. Pictures Nintendo and 4Kids Entertainment?
Pokemon Mewtwo Strikes Back, Pokemon 2000 The Movie and Pokemon 3.
Get over yourselves people just stop complaining about why you’re freaking out over Mr. Mime in the film just be happy that you’re going to see Pokemon’s Detective Pikachu when it opens in cinemas in May or June next year.
Also people get excited for Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu! and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee! as this will be Masuda-San’s last time as Pokemon director.
I’m excited and I’m definitely picking up Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu! for the Nintendo Switch.
