What Are You Playing This Weekend?

The weekend is an excellent time for sleeping of which I need plenty. Once that's done, it's time to start terraforming the galaxy around me.

I'm very much looking forward to some board games this weekend, one of which includes Gaia Project. It's a sci-fi spin-off in the Terra Mystica series, where you grow and develop by terraforming the planets around you.

You can turn certain planets into Gaia planets, which can then be colonised. Or you can skip all of that together and just focus on research. There's a ton of ways you can go about it.

Importantly, and one of the reasons I grabbed Gaia Project and not Terra Mystica, the game scales real well from 2 players to 4 players. These sorts of things you usually end up testing with someone (hi Tegan), so something that isn't garbage outside of the maximum number of players is important.

Beyond that, I'll be looking forward to doing tons of washing. Living out of a suitcase for a couple of weeks has meant the old sock draw is running a little dry.

What are you playing this weekend?

Gonna do some hunting and sidequest stuff in RDR2 so I can focus on the main story for my streams next week.

Getting near the end of Assassin's Creed Unity. Not sure if I'll do much side stuff in it, although some is half-decent. Still enjoying Revolution-era Paris - ridiculously detailed and playing in French adds to the immersion.

Doing post-game in Dungeon Travelers 2 on Vita. It's still pretty cool, although I see myself graduating to something else once I get the platinum trophy.

BloodBowl 2 on PS4 in a league. Shout out if anyone wants in!

    Nothing specific scheduled
Probably a bit of ticket to earth and maybe some Hollow knight

I'm thinking I'll either be checking out the WOFF: Maxima DLC or playing some Valkyria Chronicles 4.

Will check out Transference in PSVR & more Strange Brigade co-op with a bud.

Still waiting for a chance to play fallout 76 since I missed the beta (cause of the stupid times) so I'll be pottering away at factorio and Diablo on the switch (solo sadly, I'm not ponying up for a Nintendo online sub to play online)

This weekend I'm gonna go with Starlink, Diablo 3, and DKC:Tropical Freeze. I'm also thinking about picking up World of Final Fantasy Maxima but the backlog is already large enough.

Odyssey :~( - of the AC kind, not Mario. The longer it goes on, the more I want to bash through to the ending, but at the same time I still end up wiping all the icons off the map :/.

Which would be fine, and fun, and I'd take my time with it, if each passing week didn't make me feel more and more guilty that other entertainment options are backing up more and more. But I'm one of those people that can't split their focus well; I have to finish one thing before starting another :(.

75 hours down now, probably have about 15 left if I mainline the story now? Finished the artifacts quest line, not sure I'll bother to complete the cultists, and about ready to continue with the actual odyssey quest.

RDR2. I’m about halfway through Shadow of The Tomb Raider, but Rockstar’s sandbox is still far too appealing.

I usually want to “finish” games. Get the trophies, complete the story and move on with satisfaction. I just want to “play” RDR2, and discover all it’s little secrets.

I am under it’s thrall, such as it is.

Played a few hours of Metro 2033 Redux last week, but just simply couldn't get into it, just felt a little too dated unfortunately.

So I've started Assassins Creed: Syndicate. Only a few hours in but pretty good so far.

Warframe Fortuna. All day. Everyday. All day. Everyday. All day. Everyday.

    Arkham Horror!

Red Dead, and probably finishing Forsaken (which I have loved - the best that Destiny has ever been, I reckon). A bit more Forza 4 as well.

Imagine playing anything besides rdr2 lol
