Sure, the Switch is so much more than a glorified, portable nostalgia device. But it’s also worth remembering: it’s still a really good nostalgia device, especially when games like Out Run pop up.
The timeless racer is getting re-released on the Switch today under the SEGA Ages program. It’s functionally the same game you know and love, although the track list has been updated a little. SEGA also noted that they’ve added a few easter eggs:

If you start the game, enter your name as “YU”, and then hold the START button at the end of stage 2, you can unlock a secret message. This message will only be shown once!

Out Run will set you back $10.95 on the Aussie eShop, which is a fraction better than the US$7.99 international price.
