This Week In Games: Samurai Souls

I hope you like a challenge.

What happens when From Software crafts a tale about vengeance and redemption in feudal Japan? We’ll find out soon, when Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

I’ve not been able to play the game at all, so I’m coming in completely fresh. Save for two things: I’ve been told it’s hard, and also that it’s on PC, which apparently a ton of people have forgotten of late.

Beyond that, it’s a huge week for the Switch ports wise. The first Turok remaster from Nightdive Studios hits the platform, as does Unravel 2. Symmetry is a really unique looking survival management sci-fi game, and the platform is getting Fate/EXTELLA Link at launch as well.

Plus, Grand Prix Story is great. There’s an arcade football game in Super Kickers League as well, if that’s your style.

Here’s what’s out this week:

  • Turok (Switch)
  • Unravel 2 (Switch)
  • Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (PC, PS4, XBO)
  • Caligula Effect: Overdose (PS4, Switch)
  • Symmetry (Switch)
  • Grand Prix Story (Switch)
  • Fate/EXTELLA Link (PC, PS4, Switch)
  • Phar Lap Horse Racing Challenge (PS4, XBO)
  • Men of War – Assault Squad 2 (PC Retail)
  • Hell Warders (XBO)
  • Tyd wag vir Niemand (XBO)
  • Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! (PS4, Switch)
  • Save Koch (PC)
  • Two Point Hospital: Pebberley Island (PC)
  • Out of the Park Baseball 20 (PC)
  • Super Phantom Cat (Switch)
  • Super Kickers League (Switch)
  • Assault on Metaltron (Switch)

Right. Let’s get onto the trailers, starting with what the hell Tyd wag vir Niemand is all about.

See anything you like this week?
