What Are You Playing This Weekend?

The weekend is often for relaxation, contemplation and, usually, tactical planning.

Two main things on the pile for the weekend, for me. Firstly, some board gaming - I'd like to spend some more time with Mothership, an Aussie tactical space strategy game that's all about maneuvering around asteroids and planets in the proper order. Mothership is getting reprinted soon (through Kickstarter), so keep an eye out for that.

Second on the list is BattleTech. I picked it up for cheap over Christmas, and I've been looking forward to diving through the campaign ... I've just never really gotten the time to do so. I swear, one of these days I'll use just a week straight of annual leave to binge a bunch of singleplayer stories that I just want to carve through.

But what about yourselves - what are you playing this weekend?

video game wise i'll be playing something on the switch due to travel. probably Wargroove. What i'd really like to be playing is the tabletop game Gaslands but alas.

Bloodborne for me. And painting some Shadespire minis.

    Battletech....hmmmmmmm. I'm interested.

Division 2 is having it's open beta, so I'll be checking that out... Other than that, playing through Nite Team 4, which is pretty interesting - similar to Hacknet or Uplink, but playing as a new recruit for the NSA, so less activist hacking, more cyberwarfare mitigation.

About 120 hours into Persona and I think I'm about 2/3 of the way through. Just got the passionate listener trophy, thankfully.

I swear, one of these days I'll use just a week straight of annual leave to binge a bunch of singleplayer stories that I just want to carve through.I know the feels bro. I've been making the same promise to myself for years. I think if I sat down and went through everything in my backlog without doing anything else it would take a year to get through.

This weekend for me is mainly going to be Warframe (Yay, Nightwave!) and Etrian Odyssey Nexus.

I get zero gaming time on weekends. If I stay up late on Saturday night I’ll sneak in some DQXI.

Some tabletop gaming will happen tomorrow, though I'm not sure what exactly. In terms of video games I'll be continuing on with Tales of Vesperia and getting back into Darkest Dungeon (the announcement of DD2 has got me hyped). if I manage to finish Tales of Vesperia then I'm going to jump into RemiLore.

Working unfortunately but I'll try to get an hour of Anthem in each morning.

Still finishing off Tales of Vesperia. That game sure does have a lot of sidequests toward the end. Though I was an idiot and played the first half the game without a guide so missed a bunch of stuff.

Yeah, I still haven't gotten around to playing BattleTech as well, despite getting a key from Kickstarter. Did wear the jacket a few times though.

Otherwise heading back into Warframe to check out the new reward system they just updated recently, and might give the Division 2 Beta a go.

This is such a tough question this weekend - it's a long one in WA! But rather than start something new, might use it to clear out that Netflix list :/.

Maaaaybe start Battle Chasers, finally, otherwise.

And possibly some Kakerlaken Poker on the Monday. Also got Quacks of Quedlinburg this week, if my mates are up for a newer game.

Warhammer Vermintide 2 plus whatever else looks good on the humblebundle monthly.

Might also pop on a movie in the background and build a gundam thats been sitting on my shelf for a year or so now.

New Fortnite STW update - apparently this one revises hero loadouts so I'll be able to save my support configs (which in turn have been expanded and tuned to make alternate class builds more distinct and versatile) for switching between my main Outlander and Constructor builds.

Then based on other folks will be Apex, Vermintide 2 or Strange Brigade, before Rock Band night kicks off at PixelBar tomorrow :)
