Yep you read that right.
On March 4, 2022, Warner Bros. and Mojang will be releasing a Minecraft movie. It’s about a teenage girl and “her unlikely group of adventurers. “After the malevolent Ender Dragon sets out on a path of destruction, they must save their beautiful, blocky Overworld.” It’s directed by Peter Sollett (Nick & Nora’s Infinite Playlist).
As for what that could possibly be the plot or story of a movie based on a game that has no story I could not say.
We will just have to wait and see.

Sounds about as well timed as tge Angry Birds movie.
If you’ve got a good writer, you can make a story out of Minecraft.
I really enjoyed listening to Minecraft: The Island audio book written by Max Brooks (World War Z) and read by Jack Black.
Yeah there are countless fan made films and episodes out there on YouTube, some good and some bad but none held back by the lack of a story.
I’m actually surprised a MC movie has taken so long.

Yeah I’m doubting the company that bought minecraft will be happy about that, since they have tried to write whats his face out of minecraft because of the crazy shit he’s been saying lately.
