Time to put on your vampire hat and whip.
The latest game from the Castlevania creator is here, and it’s certainly an authentic crack-and-slash through a demonic mansion. Ritual of the Night is available on PC, PS4 and the Switch, and if you don’t want to pay $999.99, here’s the cheapest copies available in Australia.
PS4/Xbox One
- Amazon (PS4): $53.09
- Amazon (XBO): $53.09
- OzGameShop: $53.09
- PSN: $54.95
- JB Hi-Fi: $69
- Mighty Ape: $69
- Microsoft Store (XBO): $69.95
- EB Games: $79
Not as big a list this time around — plenty of retailers have opted not to compete on Bloodstained, maybe reckoning that the audience for this wouldn’t be that large. The PSN pricing is really good, though.
Switch

- OzGameShop: $54.09
- Amazon: $54.09
- Mighty Ape: $69
- Nintendo eShop: $69.95
- DVD Land: $73.95
- EB Games: $79
- Sanity: $79.99
Well, at least they’re not charging $999 any more.
PC

With access to Steam keys and more stores, you’ve probably got the widest range of stores available (and most competition for price) on PC.
- Indie Gala: $US31.99 ($46.50 ex. currency fees)
- WinGameStore: $US32.70 ($47.53 ex. currency fees)
- Nuuvem: $US34.99 ($50.86 ex. currency fees)
- GMG: $51.56
- Humble Bundle: $52.59
- Fanatical: $53.12
- Steam: $62.95
Shame that the Steam pricing really isn’t competitive at all. Indie Gala are doing a great offer here, but if you prefer to stick to bigger stores, GMG’s pricing is pretty good.
So that’s the scoreboard for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night in Australia. We’ll have a review up later today, and there’s some gameplay embedded above if you want to check the game out before buying.
Amazon have had consistently good game prices for most stuff I’ve been interested in.
That’s too many competitively priced PC store options. Give me just one store that has exclusive rights to the game and its price thanks.
“Subtle” digs at certain storefronts aside, you can put glasses on Miriam? Give me now!!
