We’ve already shown some cracking shots of what Atlantis looks like in Assassin’s Creed, but how does it play?
Tim and Stephen recently showed off an hour of gameplay from Judgment of Atlantis, the Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey DLC that starts unpacking the Isu, the mythical race that put the Templars and Assassins in motion. And who also apparently decided to roleplay as the Greek gods?
There’s a lot to unpack, and it’s easiest understood in motion. So without further adu, here’s an hour of gameplay from the Kotaku Twitch channel covering the third Odyssey DLC, as well as what Assassin’s Creed you should play if you’re new to the series, and Tim doing a lot of voices for all the codex lore.

As a colleague said, Ubisoft’s art directors are just showing off now.”]
As an aside, what Assassin’s Creed would you recommend to people who haven’t played the series before? I think Origins is a good introduction to how the series approaches combat, and the new style Ubisoft has adopted for the series. But Assassin’s Creed 2 still has my heart. Ezio for life.
