Bossa Studios, the developer behind the beautifully madcap games Surgeon Simulator and I Am Bread, teased its next game on Twitter earlier this week. It’s called Pigeon Simulator, and as the name suggests, it allows you to be, well, a pigeon.

This isn’t going to be your very serious type of Something-Simulator though, oh no. Forget your Airports and your Buses and your Car Mechanics.

Judging by the 30-second teaser trailer Bossa released on Monday, Pigeon Simulator is all about wacky fun. Set in the fictional town of Barnardshire (which sounds very British but is actually populated by yellow cabs and NYPD police cars) you take on the role of a common street pigeon where you can go about regular pigeon activities – like riding a skateboard into a person’s face, or picking up a businessman by his ear and tossing him into a tree.

Presumably you can also shit on someone because what kind of game about being a pigeon wouldn’t allow you to shit on someone?

There’s no release date for Pigeon Simulator just yet but we’re excited to become the flying vermin we’ve always longed to be.

  • Soooooo – a flying Goat Simulator?

If they do wacky expansions like GS, I hope there is one riffing the ‘Pigeons don’t exist, they’re Govt Surveillance Drones’ meme.
