League Of Legends Player Gets Rekt By Mum

If you're lucky enough to have parents that appreciate and understand games, you're doing well. But there's a point where it's cool that your parents understand games, and then there's the point where they understand them well enough to completely wreck your shit.

That's the unfortunate misery that Twitter user elunalol found herself in recently. In a message chat with her mother, which she shared online, the user's mother started guilting them for missing two phone calls.

Missing a call from your Mum: bad enough. When they nutted out the reasons why, the Mum did a 180 and suggested that they go back to playing League of Legends. "Always die because no focus. Call after," the mum taunted, telling her daughter to get the "beron [sic]" first before calling back.

The bit where the mother finds a way to answer the question while guilting even further is the most Mother Thing Imaginable. It reminds me when I used to use a PC in the study room, and Mum would be sitting next to me watching me play Counter-Strike, giving me shit whenever I lost a clutch.

Absolutely brutal. But at least she was OK with me playing games, so things could be worse.

Gold. Everyone should have a Mum this cool

I gotta say, she's pretty fantastic. If only my parents were gamers too!

I'm still teaching my children the finer points of gaming. Looking forward to years from now when they're teenagers and I can stop holding back and open up a can of whoopass on them.

Aww, that's disappointing. I was hoping the story would be about a player whose mum got into the game and completely kicked their ass on the Rift...

WILL YOU FUCK THESE POPUP ADS OFF! I'm reading the article and Bam! Big fucking ad for Tasmania right where I was reading. 3 TIMES. SERIOUSLY HAD ENOUGH OF THIS BULLSHIT, KOTAKU.

Not to be difficult, but any chance you could take a screenshot of it and email it in? Only ask because that lets the team know what specific unit isn't firing correctly, so they can fix it.

No he'd rather swear and carry on like a child.
