Can't say there isn't much there that is a "must play". Might be good for testing new games before purchase though.

"Ubisoft's uPlay+ Subscription: Australian Price"... and that price is? I couldn't find it on the trial page link, either.

      $20/month, it's in the article

Yep, wasn't there when the article first went up, got added afterwards.

So that price is???. Keen to try this service purely to try the games I want to play but didn't want to purchase in case I didn't like it. Not sure how this whole everyone doing subscriptions is going to work. For streaming movies and tv, there's netflix, stan, soon to be disney+, youtube premium etc etc. Then there's the software subscriptions, a gym subscription, then you got life responsibility subscriptions. Now game subscriptions. Soon enough you will be adding up all your subscriptions and be in a world of shock and having to cancel certain ones. I know first world problems, but this is a trend not sure is a good one or not.

Not sure how this whole everyone doing subscriptions is going to work.
Sure we know – wasn't there an article here a while back about piracy becoming a thing again from streaming platforms doing it?

Too much IMO. At $240 a year could buy a lot of games. Between $5 - $10 would have been the sweet spot.

Way too much, especially given that Ubi games are generally massive and over stuffed with content. I'm still playing Odyssey with over 150 hours invested in it, I think personally I'll just continue to pick up the games I want when I see them cheap. Which for Ubi games is usually a month or 2 after release and not much more than 1 month's subscription.

Agreed. There's a few things there I'll probably play during the trial, but nothing that I'd pay $20 a month for.

Good to see we are in the "every late comer to the concept jumps on ruining the business model for themselves and their competitors" phase of the video game business cycle.

Just like happened with TV i am not going to spend more money to sign up for multiple services, i am just going to sign up to them temporarily when they interest me and dump them immediately once i am done, spending significantly less

And doing it that way makes a lot of sense.

The problem with this (well aside from the fact that it's PC only) is (as with the EA Access thing) I have all the good games from this already!!

I have almost every Ass Creed thanks to GWG, both Watch Dogs games, Division 2, all the Splinter Cell games, Far Cry 4 - this is good if you have a super-powered PC and no existing library but who is that consumer?

At least with Game Pass there's so many AA and Indie games that there's a good chance I haven't played em before!

Costs more than Game Pass and relies mostly on the back catalogue. No thanks.
