The last scribble was indeed Spyro 2, featuring the adorable Bruno the hippo. Ektoplasm got the game first, so nice work!

Today’s scribble, as you can guess, was drawn by me. There’s a reason why it’s especially bad, but I’ll explain after the jump.

So I drew today’s scribble using a stylus that came with a new Windows laptop. I’ll have more to say about the laptop in due course, but as you can see, the Paint 3D experience on Windows can’t hold a candle to the iPad/Procreate combo.

Anyway, good luck with the game! You definitely all know it by heart, or at least the franchise.

  • The Hunt for Red October. The scene where Sean Connery and Tim Curry are standing on the conning tower just before they dive, and Connery quotes Shakespeare (“Doubt thou the stars are fire. Doubt that the sun doth move. Doubt truth to be a liar. But never doubt I love.”) but Tim Curry misunderstood because of Connery’s thick Russian accent and assumed he’d asked him to pluck the sun from the sky.

  • I’m trying to decide if that’s a hand holding a coin, or a malformed rooster with a golden egg in it’s beak…

I suppose I will guess King’s Quest IV – The Perils of Rosella.

  • Cricket (NES) – when you move fielders & they wiggle & squirm in your fingers.
(The fielder is censored for some reason :-p )
