This Week In Games: The Goose Awakening

HONK.

It’s finally that time of week, where all the major stuff lands out of nowhere. We’ve got geese honking all over the joint. A Game Boy classic returns with a touch of 2019. There’s new hardware in the Switch Lite! And then there’s the exclusives and all the releases that are part of Apple Arcade, which launches on Thursday. And there’s the Ni No Kuni remaster as well. Puzzle Quest is back too — it looks like a remaster of the original, from the gameplay you can see below.

It’s a busy week, and chances are people are getting more than one game from the leaderboard this time around. Here’s the score. (Note that some games might launch on other platforms this week, but I can only list what’s appearing on the store on Monday morning.)

Talk about too many games in a single week. Puzzle Quest on the Switch with touchscreen support might be the sleeper hit amongst all of this. But Goose Game? Sayonara Wild Hearts? Ni No Kuni cranked up to max on the PC?

What a week. See anything you fancy?
