The sport of Formula 1 wouldn’t actually be improved with red shells and the Mario theme song at the starting grid, but it’s pretty funny for a Monday.
The F1 Quality Memes YouTube account has put together a delightful supercut of everything from the weekend’s Italian F1 Grand Prix, replacing all of the engine sounds and spin-outs with the glorious sounds and effects from Mario Kart (with a bit of crossover from Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 8‘s music).
If you haven’t watched F1, or don’t care for the sport, it’s an immediate improvement. If you do care for the sport: Mamma Mia.
