Last week, we covered Kogan cutting the price on all of its internet plans, including its NBN 250 and NBN 1000 packages, both of which come with unlimited data.

Overall, the discounts weren’t enormous. However, Kogan has just announced that it’s further reducing the monthly price of its NBN 250 and NBN 1000 plans by $34 and $44 per month, respectively.

Check out the available plans below.

When it comes to the raw numbers, you’re saving $6 per month on the Bronze deal, $8 per month on Silver, $10 per month on Gold, $34 per month NBN 250 and $44 per month on NBN 1000. When it comes to the latter two plans, Kogan advertises typical evening speeds of 200Mbps and 250Mbps respectively.

All of the plans are discounted for the first 6 months, after which they’ll return to their normal prices.

Before you do take up these plans, you need to make sure you have the appropriate NBN connection. At the moment only a fibre to the premises (FTTP) or hybrid fibre-coaxial (HFC) connection can support NBN 250 and NBN 1000.

How do these Kogan plans stack up against other internet providers?

Here’s how the NBN 250 plan compares to others on the market. With this discount, Kogan is now one of the cheapest options on the market at $94.90 per month, coming in just behind Mate’s plan which is $89 per month.

And here’s a comparison for the NBN 1000 plan, which sees Kogan clocking in as the second cheapest option currently available on the market. It’s only outdone by MyRepublic.

If you’re a fiend for Qantas points, Kogan will give you 1 point for every $2 you spend on its NBN plans, so something to consider there.
