Arkane’s Deathloop has been delayed to September 14, the studio announced on Twitter this morning. The game was originally set to release May 21.

  • Probably for the best. Clearly game dev hasn’t been able to adapt to a WFH approach as well as other tech industries, and nobody wants to be the next Cyberpunk 2077.

    Sony’s ballsy move of punting CP2077 from their store over its quality is something we both should and shouldn’t see more of. We should see stores taking responsibility for the product, and we shouldn’t see devs trying it on with a promise to ‘fix later’ to keep up with Marketing. They’ve been allowed to get away with that for too many years (decades?) and it’s showing.
