Well, a lot more games than I was anticipating.
The LGA lockdown in Sydney has meant me — and about a million other Sydneysiders — are effectively on ice for the next fortnight, save for the few moments when you need to get dunny paper or some spare mi goreng from the latest Wollies/Coles.
So, I guess that makes it a pretty decent time to explore things I’ve always wanted to investigate more. Sea of Thieves is one of those ones where I’ve wanted to go sailing with a crew for ages. The recent Pirates of the Caribbean content is a perfect opportunity to jump in; the fact that it’s been well received is an extra bonus.
Along with more time finishing off Scarlet Nexus and Mario Golf: Super Rush — although neither of those are going to occupy an entire weekend — I’d also like to knock off some more bush trips in Microsoft Flight Simulator. There’s a Patagonia trip I was eyeing off during E3 week, but I cocked up one of the landings, so I have to redo an entire leg of the journey. (That’s at least 90 minutes.)
Still, flying is a nice chill activity that pairs well with other shows or podcasts in the background. And since I’m not going anywhere anyway…
What are you playing this weekend?
