Happy weekend, Kotaku!
Not at all related to games but today I discovered that the Always Sunny lads started a podcast covering the show episode by episode, and that only started (being uploaded to YouTube, at least) in January. Good way to start the year!I recently finally caught up on season 14 and 15 and I gotta say, they still got it.

There’s been a ton of NFT and Crypto ads in here at the moment.
Feels really odd to see them plastered all over articles, especially when their about the scams happening at the moment.I know you guys don’t really have a say on what gets advertised but it’s still weird.

They do have a say though. Alex claimed to regularly be stomping inappropriate ads.

Thats really more clean up after the event. The ads themselves are usually randomised by the ad server so my assumption is its picking up all the NFT articles and the algorithm is translating this as “we wanna see stuff related to NFT”
Then again Ive seen those ads push online gambling ad of all things Sky News =/
Honestly it wouldn’t be as bad in my books if it wasnt for the fact the new “improved” layout basically stealth inserts the ads to look like an article basically making ppl browsing think its a legit article… is this actually legal? XD

Just gonna put it out there good job on Ruby Innes interview/article on games as political expression earlier in the week!
Not my usual cup of tea but its nice to see articles that can cover those topics without devolving to the usual partisan bait I see far too often these days! More of those please!
