Been playing Cyberpunk (PS5) and it’s easy to see why a lot of folks loved it and also why a lot of people were disappointed as well.
One second it’s blowing you away and the next minute a bit of jank pops up to steal the show, but not all the time thankfully.Super glad I waited, there’s barely been any terrible bugs worth mentioning and the few that have popped up have been funny, fleeting or barely noticeable.
(Watched an NPC on a chair just vanish like spectre, my car hates being on uneven ground and the nighttime skybox vanished at one stage to reveal a blinding HDR light from heaven but that’s about it)My only complaint so far is I don’t know what I want to be so I’ve been sitting on my stat/perk points.
Sometimes I wanna sneak around like a ninja, others I want to rain bullet death on everyone and all the time I wanna scan/hack the world around me.
I’m getting the impression that furiously min maxing might not be essential though, even with my starter build I’m holding my own quite well. The weirdest thing to happen was I sold my pants by accident. A suit jacket, singlet and bike boots are not a flattering look.
Best part so far was coming across some wanker slapping some poor fool right near my apartment, I choked him out then furiously pummelled him until he died, most fun I’ve had testing the limits of gratuitous violence since GTA.
