EB Games’ Mid Year Sale Is Only On For Another Week So Get A Move On

The EB Games Mid-Year Sale is rapidly coming to an end. The MYS is EB’s annual tax-time money fight, and is often a great opportunity to pick up some newer release games at a decent discount, but it will wrap up this coming Sunday, July 24th. The 40,000 SALE posters will go away until Christmas. The bright red hue of every store will return to their native blue and white as lights are uncovered and the sale bunting removed.

This piece originally went up at the start of the sale on June 1, 2022, but I’ve retimed it so you can still grab a bargain if you want one.

Mid-Year Sale always covers the entirety of the EB Games inventory, from games to accessories, toys and expensive hobbyist controllers. 2022 is no exception.

I’ve gone through the full list of games for you to root out what I think are some of the best deals on the list. Some, like Rainbow Six Extraction, which only launched in January, are already down to under 30 bucks. I’ll spotlight some choice titles in the section below.

However, your personal bargain mileage may vary, which is why I’ve also included links to sale items for you below.

This link will take you to the complete range of sale items, unsorted.

If you’d prefer to only browse the games on sale, you can find those here, sorted by price from cheapest to most expensive.

  • Well David I won’t be getting Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath on Nintendo Switch instead I’ll be stocking up on more Nintendo eShop gift cards when maintenance on the Nintendo eShop is completed tomorrow because I want to put down my digital pre-order for the 1999 BANDAI NAMCO remake of PAC-MAN WORLD RE-PAC coming out on August 26 next month along with Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope coming out on October 20 and the upcoming ATLUS release of Persona 5 Royal on Nintendo Switch coming out October 21.
I’ve already stocked up on some gear for my Nintendo Switch which includes carrying my Nintendo Switch in a protective Super Mario travel case and protecting my Joy-Cons from any bumps or scrapes using a clear protective case made from high-grade sturdy plastic.
But as you said with the EB Games Mid-Year Sale ending next Sunday July 24 as I said I really need to stock up on more Nintendo eShop gift cards to place in my digital pre-order for the 1999 BANDAI NAMCO remake of PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC coming out on Nintendo Switch on August 26 next month along with Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope coming out on October 20 and the upcoming ATLUS release of Persona 5 Royal coming out on Nintendo Switch October 21 when Nintendo undergoes and completes maintenance on the Nintendo eShop tomorrow.

  • Rider Republic at $36 that is a standout for me despite already owning the game definitely worth it at this price
