Since I don't work in an office, Bring Your Kid To Work Day doesn't exist. Instead, I brought him to BitSummit.


It's been 10 years. Platinum Games was founded on 1 August 2006. Since then, the Osaka-based game company has churned out a slew of memorable titles. In a recent interview with Kotaku, Platinum Games co-founder Atsushi Inaba spoke about his past and the studio's future.


It really is. We better do something about it, because bits of Japanese video game history have already vanished forever. This weekend at BitSummit, game preservation was in my mind as I sat down to talk with Grasshopper Manufacture's Goichi Suda.
