You may remember Card Hunter, the deck-building browser game from Blue Manchu. The studio, headed by ex-Irrational/Looking Glass developer Jon Chey, has been mostly quiet the last few years. But that's only because it's been working on Void Bastards, an FPS where you board derelict spaceships searching for supplies, while trying to stay alive.

Card Hunter dropped off our radar for awhile, but the fantasy-themed online board game knows how to recapture one's attention. Developer Blue Manchu recently made two announcements in one -- it's releasing an expansion that introduces co-op play and CH be hitting Steam before July's end.
As compellingly playable as the Australian-made Card Hunter is, its Flash requirement has limited its domain to that of browsers supporting recent versions of Adobe's platform. That's going to change though, with developer Blue Manchu hitting up fresh studio DropForge to handle the conversion.
