One of the best values in gaming gets even better on May 20, when Nintendo drops the price of the DSi to $US99.99, with it’s larger sibling the DSi XL at $US129.99.
Nintendo is no stranger to hardware iterations. Its last portable, the Nintendo DS, saw several major revisions. The 3DS is a different story. It just came out a few months ago but is already seeing half-hearted hardware upgrades. (A snap-on second slide pad? Ugh.) And 3DS owners should be pissed.
For years now, Nintendo is putting its DS in Kyoto classrooms on the grounds that it was a good tool to study math or foreign languages with. Nintendo’s probably right. And now, the game maker is doing the same in the States but with art.
