Originally due in June before being multiple times due to covid-19 related concerns, Final Fantasy XIV’s next big update, “Reflections in Crystal,” is finally on track for an August 11 release.
Originally scheduled for release in mid-June, Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers’ update 5.3 is being pushed back several weeks due to issues stemming from the covid-19 crisis. In a letter to the community, game director Naoki Yoshida detailed the difficulties involved with managing MMO development during a global pandemic.
Earlier today, my Kotaku coworker Heather Alexandra posted what I am sure was expansion. An ending that I’m still a level and a half and a whole bunch of quests away from experiencing. I am so damn jealous.
