When I think about games from the '90s that I really, really miss, Descent comes to mind quite a lot. Fortunately, we'll have a new shooter next week that might fit the bill.
Talk about close shaves! Today, Descent successor Overload (not to be confused with Descent: Underground) barely scrapped over its Kickstarter goal of $US300,000 by a measly six grand.
Descent co-creators Matt Toschlog and Mike Kulas want to make a spiritual successor to the "six-degree of freedom" shooters they released back in the '90s. And they're asking for $US300,000 to help make it happen.
