Brendan O’Connor: ‘The Time Has Come For A Decision’
24Earlier today a spokesperson for the NSW Greg Smith’s office claimed that they wanted to wait until after the ALRC reported back to get games classification “right”. Now, in a statement sent to the ABC, Brendan O’Connor has stated that “a time has come for a decision”.

NSW Attorney-General On R18+: “More work needs to be done on this issue”
Gamespot is reporting that a spokesperson for the NSW Attorney-General Greg Smith has stated that they won’t be “going down a definitive route with R18+ at this weeks SCAG meeting,” and plan to wait it out until the ALRC report back in early next year.

Australian Law Reform Commission Has Only Received 80 Submissions
The closing date Submissions to the Issues Paper for the Australian Law Reform Commission is July 15 yet, despite being open since the middle of May, there are currently only 80 completed submissions.
