Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot will break comic book movie ground in a whole new way, becoming one of the few Marvel or DCEU superheroes to guest star as themselves on an episode of The Simpsons.
Gadot announced on Twitter that she would voice herself on an upcoming episode of The Simpsons, sharing a video of her autographing a poster featuring the titular cartoon family. She didn’t indicate when her episode of The Simpsons would debut, or what it will be about, but it does give us something to look forward to once The Simpsons returns this fall.
I grew up watching @TheSimpsons and now I get to voice myself in an episode! ???????? Stay tuned… pic.twitter.com/LtvrZ39UiJ

The Simpsons has seen hundreds of celebrity guest stars over the course of 29 seasons (and counting), but Gadot will be the first DC actor to voice themselves after DC’s Extended Universe debuted with Man of Steel in 2013.
In fact, she’s only the second modern superhero star to be on The Simpsons (meaning anytime after the MCU started in 2008), with Ant-Man‘s Paul Rudd having voiced himself in season 25’s “Steal This Episode.” Stan Lee has also been on the show a couple of times, including that time he officiated Comic Book Guy’s wedding ceremony in season 25’s “Married to the Blob.”
Gadot is set to return as Wonder Woman in the sequel, tentatively titled Wonder Woman 2, which is set to come out November 1, 2019.

No it doesn’t. Zombie Simpsons has been bad for 16 seasons and it doesn’t look like it’s stopping anytime soon.
Simpsons? Gross.
Can’t stand her.
What? How can you not love her?
Political views.
My father is Middle Eastern. Israel have done some horrific things to the people in the Middle East especially Palestinians. The things she personally said to justify Israeli actions sickened me.
As a result I can’t stand her.
Fair enough!
The Simpsons is still a thing?
Huh.
Im legitimately shocked they are still making the Simpsons. It must be 15 or more years since the last time I watched it. Last thing I remember was it was supposed to be finishing after the guy voicing burns was leaving. Apparently that never happened.
