Zen Studios continues its never-ending quest to put pinball on everything capable of playing it with the December 17 release of Zen Pinball 2 for the PlayStation 4, with free tables for previous purchasers and a little something strange.
Players who’ve already purchased tables for Zen Pinball 2 on the PlayStation 3 or Vita will be able to download them for free on the PS4 version of the pinball platform. The initial free download comes with a copy of the Sorcerer’s Lair table, with 20 additional tables available as paid DLC, including Marvel Pinball and Star Wars Pinball tables.
Also available on December 17 (on PS3 and Vita as well), Marvel’s Sorcerer Supreme gets his own pinball table, filled with goatees and magical octopus demos. Doctor Strange’s table will be available for $US2.99.

If anyone is into their pinball then you should look at Pinball Arcade by Farsight Studios, they have recreated real pinball machines.
I bought the Zen Pinball pack from Humble Bundle and i have to say that the tables are quite imaginative but it doesn’t have the control down pat quite yet as there seems to be a small delay from pressing a button and it registering which in pinball is quite frustrating.
I played the demo of the pinball arcade ones and while the tables were amazingly accurate I thought the gameplay was just horrid. Felt so slow and cumbersome. I play a decent amount of real pinnies and for me zen pinball 2 is a much better game. I just wish they’d get their hands on the real table licenses (I know it’s not going to happen), because that would be my match made in heaven 🙂
Would be nice if your PC bought tables came across. PSN and Steam talk to each other – right?
