Since 2013, David Gallaher and Steve Ellis have been charting the adventures of Erik Farrell, the sole human on a mysterious planet, in their all-ages scifi webcomic The Only Living Boy. Now, the series is getting its first ever print release next week — and we have a preview!
Inspired by Gallaher’s background as a teacher, The Only Living Boy follows Erik has he struggles with the bizarre scenario he finds himself, having to grow up quickly to survive and make friends on a world where hostility is around every corner. It’s part Saturday-morning cartoon, part-pulp novella, and now it’s coming to bookshelves. Check out our preview of the book, which collects the first arc of Erik’s adventures, below:
The Only Living Boy: Prisoner of the Patchwork Planet will be released next week on March 9.

Sounds like the plot to a Harem anime
I’d forgotten about this, I read a dozen pages on the website and was really enjoying it.

Would it kill you to add a link when the whole article is about a webcomic?
