Sounds Like Colin Trevorrow Really Would Like To Put More Legacy Characters In Jurassic World 3

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is notable for bringing Jeff Goldblum back to the Jurassic universe as Dr. Ian Malcolm, and it sounds like Colin Trevorrow wants to bring more characters from the original Jurassic Park in the upcoming third Jurassic World film.

Trevorrow, who will return to the director's chair for Jurassic World 3, talked to MTV recently about fan expectations, returning characters, and the Jurassic series.

"We felt like this was Malcolm's return," Trevorrow said about Fallen Kingdom, adding, "This was his... let him have his moment. I feel that way about everyone, especially Laura [Dern], in that he never got to have her own movie. That identified as being something that's important."

Later, in response to another question, which mused that fans might feel cheated if characters like Alan Grant (Sam Neill) or Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) didn't appear, Trevorrow replied, "I totally agree with that. I would feel robbed, too, yeah."

Now, that's not a definitive answer, but it certainly seems like Trevorrow has a lot of thoughts about Dern and Neill's characters in his version of the Jurassic universe. And it definitely sounds like he wants to see them again.

So we'll see, huh? In a world where dinosaurs exist, one can never quite say never.

He was in the movie for about 5 seconds. 90% of his screentime was in the trailer! I'm confident he hasn't even met Chris Pratt or Bryce Dallas Howard.

Yeah I thought about it afterwards and it felt very tacked on like they got him in afterwards to make it a little more JP than it would have been otherwise.

The only character I want to see coming back is Jake Johnson's Lowery Cruthers, his scenes were the only stand out moments of Jurassic World.

Not entirely unrelated, I'd love to see a spin-off revisit of Jurrasic World 2, following the "Wussy nerd/black guy" and his path from being "Guy carrying rope" (Whom Pratt said he would save, then moments later forgot) and his path to being in disguise as a "Scientist."

I was REALLY surprised they didn't work him into Fallen Kingdom at all??? He was easily one of the best, if not the most appealing, character in JW.

There are no Jurassic Park films after JP1. Sorry Lost World, you just didn't quite feel the same. JPIII looked under-budge and had a talking Velociraptor. JW1 is a mess. Haven't seen JW2 because I'd rather hang on to my $9 rather than throw it away.

Just feels like they are beating a dead horse at this stage. I love dinosaurs and the original Jurassic Park but this new series has not been entertaining. When they were leaving the island and that one brachiosaurus was at the dock, it made me sad. Don’t think I’ll watch anymore movies they make for it.

Also the overly aggressive and in your face female doctor and beta male who is allergic to and afraid of everything were the worst characters I have seen in a movie for a long time. I spent the majority of the movie wishing they would get eaten.

I'd rather "Megafauna Park" at this point, for a change. Sabertooths hunting Moa, and giant snakes vs woolly rhinos and so on.

    Bring back Dennis Nedry!
"But he died in the first film"
Bitch please the Dinosaurs died millions of years ago.
