Now considered PlayStation 3 classics, Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 are getting remastered for the PlayStation 4 in full HD.
Famitsu reports that the games will basically be the same as the originals, but run at a crisp 60fps and look kickass at 1080p!

But not in 4k? Not much point of a remaster if your going from 720p or 1080i to 1080p.
60fps, I suppose?
I suspect this is more for the benefit of those who missed out on the games on PS3 – if PS4 had BC then these remasters wouldn’t exist.
I am mildly surprised that they’re not going the full Kiwami remake route for these like they’ve done with the first 2 games, though.
Hopefully if/when they released Yakuza 3 Remaster, it will be the full version of the game instead of that half-baked version we got on the PS3.
Will they be sold in a three pack like the GTA games or Crash Bandicoot?
