Three different teams with Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng on them have now won major North American League of Legends titles. The third, Team Liquid, instantly became the most memorable yesterday with a 3-0 sweep over 100 Thieves. Just a week after his brother was arrested and charged with murdering their mother, Doublelift opted to travel to Miami and compete in the North American Spring Split.

Three weeks after Golden State Warriors-owned League of Legends team Golden Guardians fired head coach Yoonsup "Locodoco" Choi, the former coach broke his silence. Choi, who was fired just four games into the team's season, said tonight that his firing was a result of him telling a "personal story" which was not "sexually explicit," but also "totally inappropriate" for an interview.
Immortals has been rejected from North America's League of Legends Championship Series, which comes as a shock, given that the organisation bought in back in 2015 and has since built one of the league's largest support staffs for their LoL team.
That still wasn't quite enough of a commitment in League of Legends for Riot Games, though.
Following his suspension for the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) earlier this week due to allegations that he'd levelled another player's account for $US1300, professional League player Yu "XiaoWeiXiao" Xian has come clean. He says he didn't realise he was committing a "severe" offence.
Oh, the irony. Professional League of Legends player Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng has been sidelined from his position on the North American team Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) due to an IRL sports injury. Peng gashed his pinky finger playing basketball recently, deep enough that he needed to get stitches.
