After Shooting At Dr Disrespect’s House, Streamers Are Concerned For Their Safety
Yesterday, one of Twitch’s best-known streamers, Dr Disrespect, was forced to abruptly shut down his stream after someone fired a gun at his house, shattering a window. Police have since said the shots likely came from a BB gun, but this and other recent incidents now have Twitch streamers concerned for their privacy and safety.

Edge of Reality’s 2014 free-to-play online shooter, Loadout, is getting shut down on May 24. The developer announced the news on Steam earlier this week, citing, among other reasons, the prohibitive costs of making the game compliant with new European regulations.

New Default Setting Makes Popular Steam Tracker Redundant, Maker Says
Amongst the wake of concerns around user data and privacy, Steam announced they would be changing some default privacy settings for all Steam accounts. And while that sounds positive on the surface, there is one unfortunate downside: the change will result in the popular third-party Steam tracker, Steam Spy, becoming completely redundant.
